-Science Binder
-Science notebooks (2) either spiral or composition notebooks.
* 1 for a science journal and 1 for a science fair logbook

- Correcting Pen
-Glue Sticks (2 or 3)
-Highlighter marking pen
*Absent Work- Remember you are responsible to get all work for any absences including school activities/sports, sickness or vacations. All absent work can be found on Planbook.

2) Go to the days missed-all things needed including reading from the Science Book and worksheets are included (You will need to print worksheets)
3) School Sports/Activities are not considered an absence so extra time is not given for assignment completion.

*Late Work /Missing Assignments, Re-do Assignment Policies-
Late Work/Missing Work will result in a 20% reduction for that assignment for the first trimester, 30% in the second trimester and 40% in the third trimester. This is a 7th grade policy for all core classes. With missing work, an M will appear in the grade book. An M will also appear for Absent Work as a reminder to get it in. There is no reduction in absent work as long as it is turned in following the SMS Absent Work Policy which is one day more than the number of days you are absent. For example if you are gone 2 days, you get 3 days to get those assignments turned in. If not turned in by that time, they become a missing assignment. Grades are generally updated weekly, usually by Thursday evening. All assignments (tests & quizzes not included) can be redone for 70% and will be excepted until 5 days before the trimester ends.
