To ALL students: PLEASE READ
Phrase of the Week: We can not change the winds, but we can adjust the sails.
I hope all of you are adjusting to our new normal. We will get through this together. Please take time each day to get outside and go for a walk, play with your dog, or whatever your choose. Physical activity will help you feel better, both physically and mentally. And, the vitamin D from the sun is great for our immune systems!!! (science, science, science!!!!) I have read many lists of suggested things to do with our new "down time", and there are some great ones: from doing puzzles, to calling relatives to simply talk, to reading a book, to learning a new skill by watching on line videos, the possibilities are many. So, after your school work is done, make your bucket list for this gift of time we now have, and let's all make the best of it!!
In moving forward for this week, I will continue to post assignments/announcements on this webpage. I will also put assignments on google classroom, and I may use your Raider student email to communicate as well. PLEASE check those 3 avenues of communication DAILY so that we continue to learn together.
You may use Google Classroom to turn in assignments or you may email them to me. I will also be utilizing the "class drive folder" on google classroom. I may instruct you to go to Google Classroom, then to "Classwork", then click on"class drive folder". In this folder I will be uploading notes, homework, audios with lecture, audios to explain homework, etc.
Also, I am using the CamScanner App as I upload some documents to your google class drive folder. This is a free download that all of you can put on your phones. It allows you to scan your work and then upload it or email it as a pdf attachment. This is another option that may work easily for some of you.
