Social Studies Class Overview

Welcome to our 6th Grade Social Studies class! Throughout the course of the year, we will be studying several different social studies concepts, such as timelines, primary and secondary sources, map skills and geography, economics, and world governments. Also during this year, we will begin studying ancient civilizations and the paths that they created to our modern world.

We will be using 4 different social studies texts. (these are class sets, we will use these in class and will not be sent home)

It's called "The Passport" used to notes and information for Social Studies curriculum.

Trapper Keeper or Expandable Folder System - called "The Vault" - used for important papers.

Cloth Pencil Pouch with writing supplies and your Computer.

RED Composition Notebook - Supplement Interactive Notebook -

It's called "The Twizzler" - used for the Road Trip Adventures program stays in the classroom.
