Princ and Giants win the 2015 Croatian women and men’s national championships

The girls from Princ defeated the Lady Pirates to win the Croatian Women’s National Championship with a final score of 12:3. Game was close until the 4th inning when Princ scored seven runs putting the game out of reach.
Individual awards went to the following players:
Best Pitcher – Ema Vrančić
Best Hitter – Iva Mužinić
MVP – Ina Šimičević
Meanwhile, the Zagreb Giants became the Croatian Men’s National Champions defeating Mrki Medvedi with a final score of 7:5. The game was tight through the 5th inning. But in 5th and 6th inning, the Giants scored five runs
to gain the lead and the eventual win.
Mrki Medvedi started a comeback in the 7th inning but could only score three runs.
Individual awards went to the following players:
Best Pitcher – Bruno Kukolja
Best Hitter – Alen Magdalenić
MVP – Hrvoje Jerbić
