Hero Slider

Adding a new slide:

Updating the Hero Slider can be a bit involved. Here are the steps involved in adding and managing your Hero Slider.

1. Navigate to your website's Hero Slider Gallery - Navigate to Gallery > Your School > Hero Slider

2. Find and upload an appropriate image using the Public Resource button, or select an image you already have uploaded to the Hero Slider image folder. This image should be as high definition (HD) as possible. 1600 x 884 pixels minimum is a good size to look for. The image should not have any text. Place the focal point of the image toward the center so that important information does not get cut off when the browser window is resized.

3. For settings: Add overlay title to the title field. 

4. For settings: Add overlay text to the description field. Button style - 'button-1'

5. For Settings: Make sure you add Alt-Text to either describe the image or if the slide is a link, explain where the link will go. 

6. Save
