A scientist's notebook records :
thoughts,
observations,
notes,
data, and
evidence upon which discoveries are made and theories tested.
Your notebook is an important tool for learning, scientific literacy, and organization.
It must be useful to you for making sense of and reflecting on the activities of each day. The more interaction you put into it, the more learning you'll get out of it.
Are you turning in the notebook? Please complete these two sheets before you do.
Are you unorganized?
1. Check Google Classroom and the Homework Calendar for links to documents and to keep work in a logical order,
which is usually by the date.
2. Make it a daily habit to put your work where you can find it. It's easier to spend a 1-2 minutes at the end of each day reviewing and organizing than hours sorting through a messy stack of paper. Keep complete notes.
3. Be resourceful and get what you need. Come in for help.
