Computers K

Technological awareness and the basics of computers are taught in Kindergarten. Students learn about the different parts of a computer system, how each part works, and how it should be treated. Computer concepts like desktop, software, icon, and word processing are introduced. Students will learn the home row keys, the use of special function keys (return, delete, command, etc.), mouse skills, and how to save and print files. The shape and sound of each letter of the alphabet are reinforced in parallel with the regular classroom through projects which include original drawing and text.
