8th Graders are working hard to develop their Google Sites. One of the things we are working on is making their Sites unique to themselves and to give the viewer a better idea of who they are. To help accomplish this, students needed to download a picture of themselves, use a photo editing program (BeFunky) to add a filter to their picture to make it more abstract. From their, they needed to upload it into "Tagul", an online tool which creates word clouds. After carefully creating a word list which included their interests, likes, and words that describe themselves, the students created unique word clouds in their image. Here are a few GREAT examples. Try to guess who they are!!
