About Your Teacher

Mr. Stephen Humphries holds a B.A. in Music & Spanish from Presbyterian College, a Masters of Music - Percussion Performance from Lee University, and a Masters of Music - Music Education (all but Thesis) from Lee University. Mr. Humphries has been at Silverdale since 2013. "One thing I love about Silverdale is the Christ-centered environment that is cultivated by the administration, faculty, and staff. This is a school that values both education and spiritual formation, and it is evident here that these two values are not mutually exclusive. The commitment to Discipleship, Excellence, and Integrity is more than just a catch-phrase and I love seeing these values lived out among my co-workers daily. I am thankful for the opportunity to work in a place where I am expected to live out what I believe, to educate my students well, and to help equip the next generation with what they need to truly succeed in life."
