Code of Conduct

I will obey all SHJMS rules while at SHJMS or other venues.

I will take proper care of all props, costumes, and set pieces.

I will arrive to rehearsals on time (which means five minutes early!)

I will not give notes to other actors. I am not the director; I am an actor.

I will bring my script, pencil, and water bottle to every rehearsal.

I will not use my phone, iPod, iPad, or any other electronic device during rehearsal.

If I cannot be at rehearsal, I will contact the director. If I have a function that receives priority, the director will receive in writing the dates to be missed no less than two weeks before the date of the function.

I will maintain a C- or better in all academic classes.

I will receive no more than one write up and zero suspensions.

I will take pride in my involvement of this production, making sure that I am, at all times, performing at the highest level of my ability, understanding that criticism or notes from directors will improve my performance, and never showing a negative attitude.
