Please check take home folders daily and make sure everything is completed in the "Bring Back to School" side of the folder.  Thank you so much for your help with this!

Please also empty out their folders each day so more hard work can go home the next day.  This will help your child to stay organized and complete their assignments.  Most of their writing will be in their writing portfolios and stay in school but will go home at the end of the year.

Your child should try to read a "good fit" book most nights.  I hope to help develop their love of reading in school as well.  They can log in the books that they read on their monthly fluency logs.  This will help them grow as readers and earn a prize after each month!  This will also include math fact practice on Reflex Math or with flash cards.  Even as simple as giving your child facts to write down on a white board will help them grow and develop great working habits!
