I recently got a notice about research opportunities with Hudson Alpha, a biotechnology institute in Huntsville. Hudson Alpha is particularly interested in leveraging sequencing information to understand and develop treatments for human diseases, so this might be a good fit for those of you with an interest in mathematics, computer programming or genetics. It's also a great way to develop contacts in Alabama's biotech sector. Applications open on January 15, 2016 and close on February 15th. Check out the BioTrain program website for more information.
