Turning Life into Literature – Students write personal narratives based on meaningful life moments, learning to tell stories with voice, structure, and reflection.
Literary Essay: Opening Texts and Seeing More – Students read fiction closely and write essays that explore themes, characters, and ideas from the text.
Research-Based Argument – Students learn to take a stand, support their opinions with facts, and write persuasive arguments that consider other points of view.
Journalism: Researching and Writing Articles – Students research real-world topics and write engaging articles that inform and interest their readers.
Each unit emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and the full writing process—from planning and drafting to revising, editing, and publishing. Our goal is to help students develop strong writing skills they’ll use for life.
