About your teacher

Anne McCormack Grades 5–8 Computer education

Mission for Each Class

Our goal to prepare our students with skills for lifelong learning. Computers are the greatest tool for accessing knowledge and collaborating with others to understand the world. Digital literacy supports students in logical as well as creative tasks. Excellent research skills come with practice using Internet search tools. Through word processing skills, students have an electronic partner that helps them organize their thoughts, form paragraphs, and communicate effectively.

In February 2020, Ms. Imbeault and I will presented a session at the Midwest Education Technology Conference. We'll present our process of moving morning video announcements to YouTube.

I will also presented a how-to session about autoCrat.

Last October, I presented at the 2018 Missouri Summit for Google Education.

In 2011, I made a presentation about Diigo and other social bookmarking apps at the Midwest Education Technology Conference in St. Charles, MO. Diigo is a free social bookmarking app. I use Diigo to store links for my students and myself.
