Course Description: The final course in the middle school social studies sequence culminates with the history of the United States from Westward Expansion to the present.  The role of the United States on the world stage will be assessed through primary and secondary source documents in addition to class texts.  Modern economic systems will be explored.

Course Objective: Students will express an understanding of the events of and influences on issues in United States History.  Students will demonstrate growth in the skills associated with the study of civics, economics, geography, and history.  Students will be able to formulate a chronological expression of events in US History.  Students will be prepared for entry into a college preparatory high school.

They have access to the ONLINE TEXTBOOK from any computer - the user name is their school email address and the password is their school password.
