Arrival

Please try not to worry if you have to leave and your child is crying. Give them a big hug, tell them when you will see them later and who is picking them up. Lastly, you wish them a great day. I will take care of the rest. They will calm down. I will do my best to get back to you at a later time to report how your child recovered.

Please dress your child in school uniform polo or jumper with play clothes bottoms and with a closed in shoe. A closed in shoe is very important. The children climb and closed in shoes are safe.

Sick Policy

A child with fever, running thick, green, mucus, and heavy coughing, please call or email and let our nurses, Mrs. Manning and Mrs. Camara, and CC Mrs. Reis and myself to let us know that your child is ill and call your doctor and schedule a visit.

Cough and runny nose please if your child has a thick, yellow- greenish mucus do not send to school. Get an appointment with doctor or keep at home to rest and not spread viruses. If your child has had a fever please do not send to school until your child has been without a fever for 24 hours. Thank you.

Volunteering and chaperoning

Please complete the CORI form as soon as possible. There is a form in your Parent Orientation Folder or go to our webpage to find in the menu on Forms and Documents.

Extended Care

We do provided extended care in the am starting at 6:30am to 5:30. Children not picked up by 2:30 will be brought to the bathroom for bathroom use and handwashing and then to Extended Care for snack and care. Cost of Extended Care is $ 6.00 per hour.

Tardiness

I know there are times when arriving late cannot be helped but please respect the preschool schedule. The children are very young and get distracted easily. If you do arrive late, report to office and then either Mrs. Reis or another office staff will escort your child/children to class.

Absenteeism

Please notify the school office or me via email regarding your child's absence. When your child returns to school after being absent, please send in note or email regarding the reason for the absence. If you know you are going on vacation during school time, please complete a Family Planned Vacation Form. Please refer to school website under forms and document to obtain this form.
