Math 1 Readiness Introduction
Welcome to Integrated Math 1 Readiness! I am very excited that you have chosen to take IM1R! This is going to be a great year. I want all my students to change their mindset about math and move from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset. To help with this change I would like everyone to keep in mind the following seven class norms on the right. I would also encourage you to watch the video below. This is a short (5 minute) clip showing new brain evidence that shows that all students can learn math to high levels.
This class focuses on many math standards which you can find here, broken down by module. Not only will we focus on these math standards but they will be taught through the lens of 8 Standards of Mathematical Practice (SMPs).
