The Interactive Notebook we use in French class is intended to promote engagement with material through creativity along with connection to life experiences, other disciplines, and francophone culture . Examples of student "Page Gauche" work can be seen below. Student "Page Gauche" extension activities can be anything connected to the given material on "Page Droite". Other acceptable and encouraged activities include but are not limited to:

Translation of songs, poetry, or other written text relating to material

Photos from real-life experience(s) with captions or paragraphs of description

Museum ticket stubs, train or airplane tickets, along with captions or paragraphs of description

Original artwork inspired by material accompanied by commentary in French

Grammar practice or book exercises
