Meet The Teachers

Mr. Canfield

This is my 5th year teaching elementary physical education. As a former division 3 baseball player I have a deep passion for sports. I have played and coached many different sports including baseball, basketball, and cross country. Most of my free time is spent outdoors running, hiking, playing frisbee, golf, and the occasional trip to Wrigley Field. This summer I traveled to Florida with my family and extended family for a mini reunion.  We spent our time golfing, relaxing at the pool, and Disney World. I am excited to have everyone in PE, and am looking forward to an amazing school year. Thank you for all of your support!

Ms. Ternes 

This will be my second year teaching elementary P.E. I graduated from Concordia Chicago and was a part of the women's basketball team there. I have both played and coached a variety of sports including basketball, soccer, and volleyball. This summer I spent relaxing and going on a few trips! I spent the weekends being active, going on walks, beach trips, and spending time with family and friends. I am so excited for this upcoming school year and I am looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
