Good News on Instruments!

Since the unfortunate fire on Aug. 1, we have received all replacement instruments that were the school's property. Yesterday, we received replacements for personal instruments that were lost in the accident. Music Connection has done a superb job in handling this event. If your student is apart of yesterday's delivery, know that you have received an excellent equivalent of your former instrument. Though we are not planning on any future accidents, I would advise that parents take record of the new instrument's make, model, and serial number to be safe.

Several instruments still remain in the repair shop and are soon to be finished in this busy start-of-school season. These are expected to be completed by the end of the month. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

We are grateful that nobody was hurt in this ordeal. As we have dealt with the instrumental aftermath, the best news is as follows:

Thanks to the diligence and hard work of Mr. Burandt, Mr. Nate Prokop, and the fine people at Music Connection, to our current knowledge, our school's insurance will be covering the cost of all damaged instruments - lost, in need of repair, school owned, personally owned, or otherwise.

Again, we thank you for your patience, but also for your continued support in the instrumental program and our Music Department at SCF! Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
