HOW DOES SHSM WORK?
4 MAJOR CREDITS in one of the available employment sectors in grade 11 and 12
choose from one of the 5 offered at Bear Creek based on your intended post secondary pathway
2 or 3 SUPPORTING CREDITS where the learning is connected to the student's SHSM (ie. English)
2 or more CREDITS in COOPERATIVE EDUCATION
ADDITIONAL
you will participate in training and field trips that allow you to earn certifications and 'reach ahead' experiential opportunities that are relevant to the employment sector you are in .....................................................................................
