I received my undergraduate degree from Union College in 2006, where I majored in Computer Science and minored in both Math and English. At the tail end of my time there, I found myself actually more interested in studying natural language than artificial language, and so toed into courses in linguistic theory at the Department of Cognitive & Linguistic Sciences at Brown University from 2007-2008. In fall 2009 I then joined the graduate program here at the Rutgers Linguistics Department, where I started working on both theoretical and experimental approaches to semantics/pragmatics.
I have a lot of interest in science in general, so am always thirsty to read more about results and innovation in other fields. Whenever I find something intriguing, I make sure to post it here.
At the end of a day, I can be found dancing Argentine tango, chatting with friends over wine and cheese, struggling to relearn to play flute and piano, wandering aimlessly outdoors, or challenging the dessert world with my no-egg recipes.
