8:15  Students may enter the building and kindergarteners go right to class.  FREE breakfast is served to any student who wants it.

9-9:45  Whole Group CKLA Skills: letter sounds, sight words, decoding strategies, reading practice, writing (competencies 3,4,5,6)

9:45-10:30  Unified Arts:  rotation of Music/Gym/Library

10:30-11  Whole group CKLA Knowledge: reading, writing, and language arts (competencies 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)  (Science and Social Studies are integrated into these lessons)

9:55-11   Math lesson and activities (competencies 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

11:00-11:30  Recess      11:30-12  Lunch

12-12:10 Weather (math competencies 2, 3; reading competencies 3,4,5,6)

12:10-12:45 Writing (reading competencies 1,2,3,4,5,6)

12:45-1:30  FLEX/Small Group reading instruction: children work independently or in small groups with a teacher on phonics, alphabet, writing, and reading strategies (competencies 1,2,3)

1:30  Snack 

1:45-2:45 Weather (math competencies 2, 3; reading competencies 3,4,5,6)

2:45  Pack up, Closing Circle, Dismissal
