8:15  Students may enter the building and kindergarteners go right to class.  FREE breakfast is served to any student who wants it.

9:40-10:30 Unified Arts:   MON: phys. ed.      TUE: library      WED: technology      THU: music      FRI: art

10:30-11 finish CKLA Skills/journal writing/skills practice activities

11:00-11:30 Recess      11:30-12 Lunch

12-12:15 Quiet time (look at books or color) Weather (math competencies 2, 3; reading competencies 3,4,5,6)

12:15-1:00 FLEX/Small Group reading instruction: children work independently or in small groups with a teacher on phonics, alphabet, writing, and reading strategies (competencies 1,2,3)

1:00-1:45 Whole group CKLA Knowledge: reading, writing, and language arts (competencies 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)  (Science and Social Studies are integrated into these lessons)

1:45-1:55 Snack

1:55-2:40 Math lesson and activities (competencies 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

2:45  Pack up, Closing Circle, Dismissal
