Class Expectations: They are on the course page for your child's class, so you can open them online. Your children can also access them in OneNote and in the Google Classroom. Parent Conferences: Mr. Hess will be sending a message to parents, which will provide all necessary information about signing up for conferences.
Class Notes and Handouts: I use OneNote to keep each unit organized for students. When I teach, I write in OneNote and the notes from class are immediately available on the website. As much as possible, I put handouts in with the lessons for which they are needed so that a student can view or print them as necessary. In some classes, I may use .pdfs of SmartNotebook files, posted in the Google Classroom to share notes with students.
PowerSchool and Grading: I typically update my grades weekly. At the close of school each Monday they are accurate as of the previous Friday. Explanations of my grading practices are provided in the expectations sheets.
Extra Help: Extra help is available during CAVBlock, or before/after school by appointment.
