Although the Internet is replete with resources on suicide prevention, there are few online resources devoted specifically to suicide prevention in Asian American communities. Hence, the mission of sapasianamerican.org is to provide a one-stop online resource for counselors, psychologists, social workers, medical professionals, community agency staff, educators, policymakers, researchers, and other professionals who are involved in suicide awareness and prevention among Asian Americans. Our long-term goal is to provide a forum for Asian Americans suicide prevention professionals to share resources and collaborate in prevention initiatives.
