About Mrs. Powell

Hello there 3rd Graders! I am SO excited for you to join Room 22 this year. You can expect lots of learning, reading, math, science, social studies, writing and EVEN MORE!! This is my 8th year teaching third grade at Quail Lake. Previously, I lived in San Diego and worked at a STEAM charter school there for 5 years teaching TK and Kindergarten. I love learning new things, especially in science & about animals. My favorite place to visit is the zoo and the beach. I have been married to Mr. Powell for 8 years and we have a 5 year old daughter named Parker and a 2 year old baby girl, Noah! We also have a dog named Diego. Some other fun things about me are: I love drinking coffee, I love tacos and everything pumpkin, I love to dance & listen to Taylor Swift & watch movies with my family.  I can't wait to learn more about you!!
