I will send you a current event form through google classoom, but here is a link incase you need it. This document is set to View Only. You will need to make a copy for your self.

You will share your current event with some students, then turn in to me.

Choose an article about a recent event (news story) related to geography, government, culture, science, economics, technology, religion. Try to find an event that takes place where we are now studying (or will study) Your article must not be older than two years and does not need to be long. You can use the links on my website, or use any reputable news source. Do not use a blog, advertisement, encyclopedia, or a website that is selling a product. Good sources: Newsela, National Geographic, Smithsonian, BBC, or hmcurrentevents.com

• You will share your summary with your team and may be chosen to share your article summary with the class;

• Grade: For full credit, answer all 3 of the questions. 10 points possible
