Textbook, Combination Lock and Chromebook Distribution

Monday, August 12th-Friday, August 15th

Tuesday, August 5th-Chromebook Exchange/Distribution for Grade 6 and New to District students

Tuesday, August 12th- 6th Grade Textbook Checkout during Science classes

Thursday, August 14th- 7th Grade Textbook Checkout during Science classes

Friday, August 15th- 8th Grade Textbook Checkout during Science classes

Combination locks and locker assignments will be given to Grade 6 students one or more days before their textbook checkout.  All other grades will receive their locks and locker assignments when they receive their textbooks.

Textbooks will be distributed during your child's Science class according to the schedule listed above.  If they do, students attending the orientation will be able to turn in their previously used Chromebooks and receive their new devices during the orientation session.  Otherwise, incoming 6th graders will complete this exchange process the first week of school.

The devices given to our 6th graders will be theirs until they enter high school, at which time they will receive another device refresh.  

Students are expected to treat their Chromebooks with care.  Please do not allow your child to have open drinks or messy food around their devices.  Additionally, students need to make sure their Chromebooks are free of objects, such as pencils and pens, before closing them.  Also, students need to set their backpacks down gently and make sure they are stable and not in danger of falling from a table, chair, etc. and the Chromebooks inside the backpack could break.
