Library Book Checkout

• The library is open from 8:15-3:30, Monday through Friday.  Students may study in the quiet room, quietly socialize while working on homework in the main room, read/check out books or work on jigsaw puzzles during lunch and before school.

• Students may check out up to two library books for four weeks.  This limit does not include novels checked out that are assigned to the whole class.  

• Students may place books on hold in Destiny.  Please view the video link in the slide above for directions on how to do so.

• Library book checkout can be done before school, during lunch, or during class time with a pass from a teacher. 

• Students should bring their ID to scan in/out when entering the library before school or during lunch. Students do not need their ID when visiting the library during class time, but students do need to have a pass from their classroom teacher.

• The library is also the place to go for assistance with your Chromebook, textbooks/workbooks and combination locks.

• If library books need to be renewed make sure to bring them to the library before the due date, so that way they do not get marked lost and a fine gets applied.

• Books overdue by 2 or more weeks will be marked lost, and a fine applied to the account. When the book is returned, the fine for the book is automatically removed from the account. Please keep this in mind and remember the due dates for your book(s).
