Textbook: Big Ideas Math

Structure of Class:

Students will be pre-assessed at the beginning of each chapter to determine their "level" for that chapter. 2 groups of classes will be created from those assessments.

Each teacher will teach their group of students based on their pre-assessment, whether it be reinforcement/review of skills.

Quizzes/tests and daily assessments will be administered throughout each chapter and by each teacher.

Students will be documenting their learning in their interactive math notebooks, along with keeping track of their assessments in their data folder. This will help them see how they are progressing as they master each skill and standard.
