User Guide

SmartFindExpress (SFE) / eSchool User Guide Link

Registration

  • All new SmartFindExpress (SFE) users must register via phone to unlock their account.

  • Call (520)-300-9070

  • Enter your badge number as the Access ID and again as the temporary PIN.

  • Follow the recorded instructions to set up your account

  • Verify your personal information, location, and classification.

  • If corrections or additions are needed, please contact Monica Christiansen.

  • Log into the website with your Access ID and new PIN. You will be prompted to create a password for future use.

Absence Approval

  • Make sure correct reason code is selected.

  • All absences, for the exception of Sick and Jury Duty, MUST be approved by your administrator.

  • Absences requiring approval MUST be entered at least 48-hours in advance.

  • With less than 48-hours notice, please enter the absence as "Sick" and immediately contact Monica Christiansen to adjust the reason code. You may text or leave a voice message at (520)-625-6262.

Priority List

  • All teachers have a substitute priority list available in their profile. This feature makes it possible to create a personalized “calling list” for your absences. Please take advantage of this resource.

Specified Substitute

  • Substitute name or ID number is entered when job is created.

  • Allows teachers to request one preferred substitute for contact.

  • Listed substitute will be called every half-hour during call-out until:

      • Job is accepted

      • Job is declined

      • A different job is accepted on the given date

      • An unavailable date is created on their calendar

      • It passes 7:00 PM on the night before the job is scheduled to start

  • If the specified substitute is eliminated, SFE reverts to the teacher priority list, if one is available.

  • If you cannot locate your specified substitute in the search, you have entered their name or number wrong, or the substitute is not available to work on the date you are requesting.
