Listed below are some great resources to help you improve your Spanish. There is also a file of useful classroom phrases at the bottom of the page.

Free Resources:

Buena Gente Spanish Podcast - this podcast is designed to help students learn Spanish using stories and high frequency vocabulary. It can be found on Spotify on Google Podcasts and on Anchor (for other devices). It also has activities that you can do with each episode.

http://www.senorjordan.com/ - this website contains videos for just about every verb form and subject. Many are being added each day for the tenses that are not already done. Señor Jordan is a Spanish teacher for junior and senior high students. He also includes instructions and permission to download his videos to iPods and computers as long as you are not selling them for profit. To see his videos click on the Videos tab. http://www.quia.com - this website can be used to study more than just Spanish. I add games all the time that go along with our textbooks. They also have a variety of games from other classes.

www.studyspanish.com - this resource has many good resources for grammar and vocabulary. It is divided up into 3 levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. This resource has free resources and some you have to pay for. I recommend sticking to the free resources as I have never tried their paid ones.

https://revistaliteral.com/2017/11/01/revista-literal-noviembre-de-2017/ - for reading in Spanish at home. These stories were written by Spanish students for Spanish students.

Apps:

These apps can be found by searching the app store. Some are free while others are paid apps.

Spanish Numbers - This app helps practice identifying to numbers: reading, speaking, and listening. There are two parts a free side and a paid app.

1. The free app will help you practice numbers up to 40.

2. The paid app ($1.99) includes all numbers. You can also select which numbers to work with and customize the app a bit.

Duolingo - This app helps you to learn the language and practice vocabulary through games and short lessons. When searched for there is a version free and on that costs $2.99.

Basic Spanish for Dummies ($.99) - Similar to the books this app will help you learn greetings, expressions, directions, time, and more. It includes a dictionary and flashcards.

Wordpower Spanish Lite (Free) - This app gives you a new Spanish word each day. You hear native pronounciation and can record yourself before moving on. There are also flashcards.

Notes in Spanish Podcast (Free) - The podcast covers a variety of cultural topics like music, art, holidays and more. It helps improve listening skills and if you go to their website you can follow up with worksheets that go with each podcast.
