Biografía

¡Hola y bienvenidos!

Señora Bochmann is super excited to be teaching Español at South Hamilton Middle/High School! She has been teaching since 2011 when she graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly Iowa.

Señora Bochmann grew up in Hamilton County where she graduated from Webster City High School in 2007. Afterwards she attended Wartburg College where she graduated with a degree in Spanish Education with an English Endorsement. Later that year she went back and received her coaching authorization as well. While at Wartburg, Señora Bochmann studied abroad in México (Cuernavaca) for a month during May Term and Argentina (Córdoba) for a 6 month semester. She also participated in sports with the Wartburg Cross Country and Track and Field teams. She has had the opportunity to take students with her to Costa Rica and Spain for a ten day trip where they learned about and explored the country. She is a member of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).

In her spare time Señora Bochmann enjoys running, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She has traveled with family to Germany, France, Austria, Wales, Switzerland, and England (twice!) in her summers off. Her family consists of her husband, her parents, a younger sister, a lot of aunts, uncles, cousins, her cat Tuxedo, and her dog Río. Each day she continues to learn something new and looks forward to the journey ahead!

See if you can find Señora!
