Advanced US History

This course is an intensive study of American history and government from 1491 to the present for skillful, serious students. Students will read deeply and independently, write frequent analytical pieces and participate in a variety of classroom exercises. Individual and group projects will allow students research and presentation opportunities to become proficient in speaking to a group and presenting their findings.
