The mission of the Bridges to the World Program is to help our students, staff, and community gain understanding, acquire knowledge, and develop 21st century skills necessary for living and working in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world. Aligning the program with RRCS’s Strategic Plan allows Rocky River High School to present educational opportunities to the student body, placing them in a position to be globally competitive as they transition into higher education and the workforce.
The Bridges to the World Program stretches across curricula and includes a series of trip types, each of which has individual objectives and academic importance. Examples include home-stay experiences, world language immersions, and student leadership opportunities. The overall objective of the program is to offer unique educational opportunities for the students of Rocky River High School that help increase cultural awareness and prepare them for successful careers after college.
