Fundraising
COVID has made fundraising very difficult, so in view of this there has unfortunately been no recent fundraising. We hope 2022 will be a more normal year.
The Christmas Raffle, held after the Carols by Candlelight service on December 18th 2019. €2,170 was raised. This money is to help upgrade pitch facilities. Thank you to all of those who helped.
Another very successful Christmas Raffle was held after the wonderful Carols by Candlelight. €2012 was raised. This will go towards doing up the school library. Thank you to all the local businesses who gave very generously to the raffle, and a big thankyou to all those who made the raffle possible.
The Gala Concert on Friday March 9th 2018 was a super night and raised €4,195, well done to all involved.
The Table Quiz held on January 25th 2018 raised €905
Thank you to all who made the Christmas Raffle 2017 a great success. €2,043 was raised, this has bought Postura chairs for 3 classrooms and 14 double tables.
ROYAL SCHOOL GALA CONCERT
In the Hotel Kilmore, Friday 20th January 2017 at 8pm. Featuring the Royal School Choir, Royal School Soloists, Cavan Singers, SInfonia Orchestra, Louise Florence, Outer Limits, Song Sisters.
Tickets only €10 and available from the school and from Easons, they will also be available on the night.
TABLE QUIZ
Thanks to all, young and not so old, who came along and took part in the Table Quiz in the school last Thurs 25th Feb 2017. A great night of fun, entertainment and laughter (thanks to our quiz-master Liam Murphy!). A special thanks to the students and staff who assisted on the night; PJ for the refreshments and the many who donated prizes for the raffle. This event was to kick-off our fund-raising for the new Sports Hall and facilities, netting €1,670 and was run by a sub-committee of the Parents Association. We look forward to your continued support by all for future events.
