The recent Gala Concert on Friday 9th 2018 was a super night, thank you to all involved.

Thank you to all who made the Christmas Raffle 2017 a great success. €2,043 was raised, this has bought Postura chairs for 3 classroom

The Royal School Gala Concert held on Friday 20th January, was a fantastic night out. This was enjoyed by all, with a great display of Royal School and Local talent. Well done to all the organisers. Next event to look forward to -
Monster Auction, March 24th in Cavan Crystal Hotel.

Royal School Gala Concert
in the Hotel Kilmore, Friday 20th January 2017 at 8pm. Featuring the Royal School Choir, Royal School Soloists, Cavan Singers, SInfonia Orchestra, Louise Florence, Outer Limits, Song Sisters.
Tickets only €10 and available from the school and from Easons, they will also be available on the night.

Christmas Raffle
The Christmas raffle raised much needed Funds for the Parent's Association and The Funding of a Defibrillator. A total of €1536 was raised. Thank you for Una Matthews, Audrey McDowell and Carol Clarke for all their hard work. €970 of this will go towards the cost of a defibrillator, with the rest of the funding coming from the Cavan Hockey Club €250 and Nigel McDowell €50

School Christmas Carol Service
Another fantastic carol service was held on Monday 12th December 2016, well done to Miss Kavanagh, Miss Tackney, Sara Whitley and Sophie Reilly and the School Choir.

John Lonergan Talk-
Very interesting and fun talk by John Lonergan, held in the Tullacmongan Resource Centre on Monday 22nd Nov 2016.
The talk was on Parenting and it's Challenges.

Thanks to all, young and not so old, who came along and took part in the Table Quiz in the school last Thurs 25th Feb.  A great night of fun, entertainment and laughter (thanks to our quiz-master Liam Murphy!).  A special thanks to the students and staff who assisted on the night; PJ for the refreshments and the many who donated prizes for the raffle. This event was to kick-off our fund-raising for the new Sports Hall and facilities, netting €1,670 and was run by a sub-committee of the Parents Association. We look forward to your continued support by all for future events.

We have been asked to help the school up-date its library, and join in its campaign to encourage reading. Any donations of good-quality books are welcomed.
