Kindergarten

The focus in kindergarten is to develop the students' repertoire of music through which music theory will be taught.

Also the student will be able to sing songs on pitch and maintain a steady beat while performing or listening to music.

These songs are in no particular order and more will be added as the year progresses.

These are folk songs and, as such, change lyrically and melodically throughout regions and time.

For continuity in future lessons where pitches and rhythms will be taught, what is learned in the classroom should be retained by the students.
