Our Choral Department consists of 6 choral ensembles and 1 student-led extra curricular organized into tiers for increased success and individual growth. Below is a chart to see how the ensembles are organized and description of each of the ensembles.

Seraphim
Auditioned & Non-auditioned women's choir - This ensemble will sing in 3 and 2 parts literature from all genres. This choir will perform all concerts and at UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation. This choir is open to any female on the RRHS campus. This group is comprised of 30- 40 students.
Draco Vocem
Auditioned & Non-auditioned Tenor/Bass choir. This choir is open to any male on the RRHS campus. Draco Vocem is designed to create camaraderie and develop musicianship among men at Round Rock HS. This choir will perform all concerts and at UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation.
Chamber
Auditioned mixed choir. This choir will sing mostly SAB, but also some SATB literature from all genres. This choir will perform all concerts and at UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation. This choir is open to any female or male student that auditions before the school year begins. This group is comprised of 20-30 students
Muse
Auditioned women's choir - This is the premiere women's ensemble at Round Rock HS that sings in many varied styles. This is our Varsity women's choir and they will have numerous and varied singing opportunities throughout the year. This group is comprised of 36-40 students.
Dragon Chorale
Auditioned mixed choir - This is the premier concert choral ensemble at RRHS. This ensemble performs music from all genres leading to great choral excellence. This group is comprised of 28 singers.
IGNITION
Student run men's vocal ensemble - This is our newest ensemble at RRHS. This ensemble performs selections from genres of Pop, Vocal Jazz, and Barbershop. This group is completely student run and student oriented. This group meets after school 2 to 3 times a week throughout the school year. The group is comprised of 12-20 but all men of RRHS are encouraged to participate.
ShowStoppers
Auditioned mixed vocal ensemble - This is one of the the premier ensembles at RRHS. This ensemble performs selections from the genres of Pop, Broadway, and Vocal Jazz. This group peforms at community events throughout the school year. This groups is comprised of 12-14 students.
