Course Description

In Algebra 1, we will be focusing on analyzing and applying linear, quadratic,and exponential functions. These three functions model most of physical phenomena we run into on a daily basis. How many candy bars can I get for $10 if each one costs $1.26? -- Linear Function. The path of a golf ball in flight. -- Quadratic Function. The population growth rate of Round Rock ISD -- Exponential Function.

As we explore Algebra 1, we will learn how to use functions that matter in the real world and communicate mathematics in meaningful ways.

The Algebra 1 STAAR End Of Course will be given during the window of May 2nd - 6th.
