MavTheater Grading Policy

Daily grades - worth 30% of total grade. In general, there are 3 "daily grades" per grading period.

Skills - worth 30% of total grade. In general, there are 3 "theater related skills" assessed per grading period.

Performance/Product - worth 40% of total grades. In general, there are 3 "performance OR product" grades per grading period.

Daily grades include participation and daily assignments, such as worksheets, daily projects, and handouts.

Skills include various skills needed for theater, such as memorization, acting technique, set and costume construction, and direction.

Performance includes major performances in class or after school, as well as large projects in Technical Theater.
