Aaron Johnson
Hello everyone! My name is Aaron Johnson, and I have known since I was 16 years old that I wanted to be a high school theater arts teacher. I've been involved in over 100 shows since 1997, in either a performing, technical, or directing capacity. I earned my BFA with an emphasis in Acting from Southwestern University, class of 2004. After college, I took a year off to act professionally and deliver pizza. I began my career at McNeil in 2005, and have been here ever since.
I believe the world of theater can facilitate a beautiful high school experience for the amazing students we have here at McNeil. I feel so blessed to be here, and am extremely grateful to educate students in an engaging and exciting way. I am the Head Theater Director, Technical Director, Drama Club Co-sponsor, UIL Co-director, and the Co-Fine Arts Department Chair over Visual and Performing Arts.
