*Players will be responsible for keeping up with all equipment and game uniforms that are taken home on a daily basis (excluding helmets) or a replacement fee will be required immediately*
Regardless if you will be 100% virtual or on-campus (in-person) virtual learning, there are a few items that are required prior to your participation in the before school Football practices. Every participant will be required to fill out the mandatory UIL and Rank One online safety forms included with the link below. Also EVERY Football participant will be required to get and turn in a medical physical evaluation completed by your preferred healthcare professional. **** THE UIL HAS EXTENDED THE VALIDITY OF LAST YEAR'S PHYSICALS FOR ONE CALENDAR YEAR. THEREFORE, ATHLETES THAT WERE IN THE JAGUAR ATHLETICS PROGRAM LAST YEAR (WITH A VALID PHYSICAL) DO NOT NEED A NEW PHYSICAL. ****
Due to COVID you may have to schedule an appointment a few weeks out due to limited availability so please keep this in mind since your child will not be able to participate in the before school practices or receive any equipment until the medical physical is turned in. Please keep in mind, there is a possibility that we are not allowed to follow through with Football this season as well, however your child will still be required to have a physical turned in once the in person learning does take place, and before they can participate in any tryouts, drills, or workouts that take place on the campus of Cedar Valley MS.
Please feel free to scan the medical physicals and email them to Coach Cearley @ Jared_cearley@roundrockisd.org if you have the.ability to do so. If you do not have access to a scanner, you can turn your physical in to Coach Cearley on the equipment distribution day (TBD on exact date but most likely the first week of in-person learning).
To participate on the Football team or receive any equipment, you MUST have the online forms completed, and the completed medical physical evaluation turned into the Cedar Valley Coaches. Remember, new physicals only apply to 7th graders & athletes that are new to the program.
