An exciting opportunity has arisen for a one day part-time class teaching post in KS2 from September 2024. If you are creative and innovative in your approach to teaching and learning across the curriculum and self-motivated, we would like to hear from you. You will need to have a commitment to getting the best from all children and set high expectations to inspire excellence through motivation and challenge. Teaching Assistant KS-1

We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant from September 2024 to work one day a week in our reception class.  Your working day would be Friday.

 

We are seeking to appoint a creative practitioner, to work closely with our KS1 team, who is committed to an enriched curriculum and inspiring children to develop an enquiring mind and skills for life. We are judged a 'Good' school who are highly committed to CPD and will offer the appropriate training. 

 

The candidates should have GCSE/O Level in English and Mathematics. Your role will include supporting groups of children with their learning, classroom and school environment displays and assisting the class Teacher with class based tasks.  It will also require working as a MDSA duty for 30 minutes a day to support lunches.

 

The candidates will be required to participate in whole school activities and to support the daily work and ethos of our school which focuses on six core values: Resilience, Independence, Caring, Respectfulness, Positivity and Aspiration. The candidates should be able to work well as part of a team and be prepared to work closely under the direction of the Class Teacher and Senior Leadership Team. 

 

Application Information.

Hours of work: Total – 6 Hours - Friday

Friday – 08.45-3.15pm

 

The post also includes 0.5 hours MDSA cover from 12.30-1.00 

 

Working Pattern:- Term-time only, Fridays

Are you the right person to join our team?

We are currently looking for a Midday Supervisor to start in January 2024. Part time, term time only for 5 hours per week.

The succesful candidate will work during the lunch time period leading and promoting playground games and social activity. You will need to be creative and able to work on your own initiative. Experience of working in a childcare provision is desirable.
