About the Halton Respite Approval Committee

The purpose of this committee is to provide a fair and equitable process for community applications requesting respite funds (children's mental health) to be reviewed and receive approval.  This committee will also have the knowledge and familiarity with this particular population to also provide and brainstorm other possible supports that could be available for the family to gain access to.

The committee, chaired by ROCK, includes member from CWSDS, Woodview, Nelson and Halton Region.

Current Meeting Schedule

The committee meets the first and third Tuesday of every month to review applications.

Please ensure that you have your request in at least 1 full day in advance of the meeting schedule above in order to be considered in by the Committee.
