The Robla Education provides over $4,000.00 each year to the Robla School District in support of the STRINGS Program that has been part of the district for the past 20 years.
The String Project is a flagship program that provides affordable, carefully-structured lessons in violin and cello for children in the 4th through 10th grades, taught by the dedicated and talented School of Music undergraduate and graduate teacher trainees. CSUS is just one of 39 sites that is part of the National String Project Consortium, and Robla District has been partnered with CSUS since CSUS became part of this organization in 2001.
Parents of STRINGS students have the opportunity to volunteer their time during the week at the end of June, beginning of July each year staffing the Foundations fireworks booth, with is the primary generator of funds that keeps the Foundation running and supporting the students and families of the Robla School District.Â
