BOOK CARE EXPECTATIONS

• Keep drinks and food away from your library books.

• Don’t let younger children use your library books until they learn how to care for books.

• Keep library books away from your pets.

• Never cut, color, or write in your library books.

• Don’t leave your library books outside.

• Always use clean hands when looking at your library books.

• Don’t try to repair a library book yourself; the librarian has special tools to fix books.

• Always use a bookmark or post-it to mark your page instead of folding the pages.

• Always return library books on time so that others may use them.
