This course is a Washington State high school graduation requirement and is designed to provide information needed to make healthy choices related to physical, mental, social, and intellectual well-being. Students will learn how individual lifestyles, genetics, family, peers, and media influence one’s health. Most importantly, emphasis will be placed on students assuming responsibility for one’s own health and being positive role models for others by sharing knowledge and increasing awareness.
