The 2023-2024 school year will be my 16th year here at Ridgefield High School and my 30th year working as a teacher in the state of Washington. During that time I have taught Biology, AP Biology, Human Body Systems, Advanced Biology, Biomedical Science, Genetics & Bioethics, Environmental Science, Life Science, Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, and Health - but mostly I have taught Biology. It is my first love in science. :-)
My academic career began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Education in 1994. After teaching for 12 years I also completed a Masters in Education in 2006.
