During the spelling test, students will independently write each word that is read aloud and used in a sentence.
Beginning this lesson, all test scores will be placed in the gradebook including the spelling tests, reading test, vocabulary test, and story test (story that is from the blue textbook; students are permitted to use their blue textbooks during these tests).
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to orally read each high-frequency word and each vocabulary word. Students do not have to orally recite the definitions of vocabulary words but should be familiar with the meanings.

Vocabulary Words:
